Judgement of the Whore
Book of Revelation Chapter 17
Chapter 16 was the last chapter that finished the chart. This 17th chapter I call the Wisdom Chapter. The Angles are asking John and you to come and see, they will show more of the mystery of who the Great Whore was. This chapter provides more information of what God wants to give us than any other chapter in the Bible. Read the following Scriptures and use a lot of discernment here.
Rev. 17:1 “And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:”
Rev. 17:2 “With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.”
“The Great Whore.” Who is she? From when these Scriptures were first written by John, Do you think he knew.? I think he did, because he certainly gave us enough clues. Most people would not believe who she was. She was not to be known of her abominations until the end of time. So would you say, that time is coming upon us now? God has given us many signs that he told us to watch for. Not all of them have been fulfilled, but most of them have.
Let’s first take note as to who she sits on (water). Remember the word (water) means, people, multitudes, nations and tongues. Did you notice in these Scriptures that it was not just one nation or a small group of people she controls, but many nations and people? So much so, they will become drunk with her fornication. This means, they are blinded, they cannot see from where they are plus many know exactly what they are doing. Where it says she sits on seven Heads and ten Horns means she is controlling them. The name written on her forehead (Mystery Babylon); use it as a symbol, the greatest deceiver of all time. Is It a doctrine? Most people who follow her don’t even know what she represents. They don’t bother to look at past history where many saints of Jesus Christ have been killed and martyred under her. Is she a church? Look who carries her (The Beast) ,a man with Satan in him..
God used Jezebel as a good example of the whore. Remember she was in the second church, Thvatira, who God gave warning to that He would cast her into great tribulation along with her children unless she repent. At that time it was a doctrine, and still is. She brought Balaam doctrine before the children of Israel which in turn was a stumbling block before them. There will be many churches still active when these seven years start, but there will be one prominent one with many contributories to it throughout the world. This is what the Word meant when it said, “the whore sits upon them”.
Rev.17:3 “So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.”
Rev. 17:6 “And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.”
Rev. 17:7 “And the angel said unto me…I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and the ten horns.”
Rev. 17:8 “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition…”
Rev. 17:9 “And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.”
Let’s take a minute here and try to decipher these last few verses. Did you notice in Rev. 17:6 how John was amazed when he saw who the whore was? He was totally surprised at to who she was and how she had control over the seven Heads ,”seven mountains”, and the ten Horns. Remember the study we had on the seven Heads and ten Horns, how the seven Heads will represent seven Arab Nations, or a religion in the area of the Roman Empire where the seven mountains are located, and how the ten horns will be ten men from different regions who will not have the power as a king at the beginning of these seven years, but they will at the end? When these events start they will have power and military support from their countries, all for the whore, but eventually when their eyes are open they will hate the whore and destroy her with fire.
They will cause tribulation to the Jewish people the same as the ten cruelest pagan Roman emperors during the second and third centuries. From Nero to Constantine the Great, all to be repeated again, to try to exterminate God’s chosen from the face of the earth. (Israel)
Now notice in Rev. 17:8, who ends up in perdition? (The Beast). One must remember there are two different deities when referring to the word Beast. This Beast is referring to the son of perdition. Remember there were only two times that “son of perdition” was used in the Bible: Judas and the coming Anti-Christ, both of them were called the devil. This is what this last Scripture is saying. Satan was in Judas, and then when he died he did not take up his abode in anyone, but his spirit controlled people. He then will enter again into this man, the Beast, who is here now. But the word “Beast” is also referring to past empires which are called “seas” or sometimes called “mountains”, as is spoken in the ninth verse, which had seven kings. Five of them became one, which became the Roman Empire, and the other is not yet come, meaning, it will be again. And the Beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. (Rev. 17:11). When the Beast (the Anti-Christ) conquers the area of the Old Roman Empire (also called a Beast), this is what Scriptures are referring to as him being the eighth person to do so, but will be of the seven, the seven heads (Mountains) who he will control again. In Rev. 17:8 the Beast thou sawest and was and is not is referring to Satan.
When the Beast plants his army in the valley of Megiddo, his army will confront the greatest army ever, two-hundred, million will cross from the North and the East. God’s judgment will come down upon all of them. Look on your chart under the sixth Seal. This is where the battle of Armageddon will start. You can read of it in Ezekiel Chapter 38.
Rev. 17:17 “For God hath put into their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.”
Rev. 17:18 “And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over all the kings of the earth.”
There are a lot of clues here and even more in the I8th chapter. Judge for yourself. The Word is saying the woman (whore) is a city: Which I believe is Rome, a church, with the Beast controlling it and the whole world. Scriptures and history have shown she has been controlling the world for a very long time. When these seven years start, the Beast will have to play his part. He will deceive the whole world by bringing peace to the Middle East; hell will come like never before. Now let’s go to the I8th Chapter and read of the fall and judgment that will come upon her.
You are in Chapter 17 of “Beast – V- Survivor” or “Hidden in Plain Sight”.
