Little Book Open

Time No Longer

Chapter 10

Rev.10:1 “And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as a pillar of fire:”

Remember now we are in the seventh year (Day of the Lord).  After reading all of the Scriptures in the Sixth Trumpet you would think that the Seventh Trumpet would follow next, but not yet.  Instead, Chapter 10 got in the way and I had to ask, “What are you doing, John?”  It seemed out of place.  The Seventh Trumpet should be here.  I had to really study and listen to the Holy Spirit. What was taking place in the sixth  year, the war of Armageddon  just starting to take place, one would think the story would continue from where it left off in the sixth year. This chapter was placed here for a good reason. It is setting the stage for you and me to receive more prophecy before the Seventh Trumpet can reveal itself.  I had to ask the Holy Spirit for the understanding.  He first shows this year is His by putting His right foot on the sea and left foot on the earth; showing the book of Revelation is completely open and that this year is His Day, the Day of the Lord.

Rev.10:2 “And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,”

Remember also, this is a redeeming Book, so as you can tell, God will take action and claim to the world He is going to now take it back.  Satan will no longer be Prince of the air we breathe.

Rev. 10:3 “And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth; and when he cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.”

Rev. 10:4 “And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.”

When Christ cries out with a loud voice in this seventh year, all of heaven will hear Him.  All of the Thunders (Saints) will answer Him; a reply that John was not to write.  We are not to know what we will be saying, at least not until we get there.

Rev.10:5 “And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,”

Rev. 10:6 “And swear by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that  therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:”

Jesus is proclaiming to the Father, God Almighty, there now is to be no more delay.  The Day of the Lord has arrived; the end of time is about to come.

Rev.10:7 “But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.”

Rev.10:8 “And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.”

Rev. 10:9 “And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.”

Rev. 10:10 “And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was sweet as honey: and as soon as I ate it, my belly was bitter.”

When John took the Book of Revelation from the hand of Jesus, Jesus told him to eat it.  He was to consume it in his mind to remember it.  He was to write everything he saw and heard.  When John consumed the words at first, it was sweet as honey, but became bitter; a joyous time for John to see Christ returning to earth to claim everything back, but a bitter time for what has yet to take place.  The tribulation time of these seven years will far surpass the bitter times one may think they had before.  The promise of Jesus’ return is imminent now as we approach this final year.

With the church gone the world that rejected Christ will now drink from the cup of gall and be fed wormwood.  A symbolic reference to Satan in the Beast, a curse God put on the House of Judah, those who strayed toward the spirit of Babylon, seeking idols that were of wood, stone, silver and gold.  The merchants on earth today are still seeking after the wealth of the world to get richer than they already are to the point they let the poor starve and be ravaged, all for their lust for power and gain.  Scriptures speak of it as a root that will grow and carry throughout generations.  At this time God’s cup of gall will be without measure, His wrath that will be poured out to the full degree. (Deut.29; Jer.9:15; 23:15; Lam.3:19).

Again, not only is this chapter (Chapter Ten) showing this year is the Day of the Lord, it sets the stage of how John and the Angels in heaven are telling you there are still more prophesy to be given before the Seventh Trumpet can come into play. Notice what it said in the last part of Chapter 10. “Go Prophesy Again”?  Being that this 10th chapter landed in the seventh year, It was letting us know that we were to go back to the first year and let more prophesy come forth, which we did.  But now that we are bringing all of the chapters and verses that fall in each year, let’s now bring the seventh Trumpet into play now.

God showed me in His teaching I had to follow His words very closely. I found myself reading the same Scriptures over and over until finally my eyes came open and saw what He was trying to tell me.  Now that Christ has opened all of the Seals and proclaimed this year His Day, and we have gone through all of the trumpets except for the seventh, we will now go to it and then Chapter 14 &15,and then the final vial.
