Spirit of Satan

Spirit of Satan

Book of Revelation

Rev. 6:3 “And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.”

Rev. 6:4 “And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.”

Rev. 17:17 “For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.”

Zec. 6:1-7 “…four spirits of the heavens…” (He is the second spirit.)

Rev. 16:13 “…three unclean spirits like frogs…” (He is the first evil spirit)

Rev. 12:3 “And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon…”

Rev. 20:2 “And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan…”

Come and see if you want to be introduced to Satan, but first I need to warn you, he doesn’t play fair. This game is for real. He doesn’t like you messing with him. He likes to deceive you into thinking he’s a good guy, but he is not. His spirit is the one that has put the whole world into damnation. All evil thoughts come from him. That is why the world is constantly at war and will continue until he is eliminated.  Please – ask Christ to be with you as you read this and keep your Bible with you.  I am very serious.

Since being that his horse is red, notice how it talks about other red horses that are behind him (Zec 1:8).  These red horses are also evil spirits ready to go at his command; to walk to and fro upon the earth to do evil wherever there is an opportunity to do so. As we near the end of these seven years, Scripture will show the most evil of his demons will be set loose out of hell to try to eliminate the whole earth and mankind because he knows his time will be getting shorter and shorter before his end.

The word “frog” in the above Scriptures is not an issue to draw our attention to; only the fact that there are three spirits that are evil and each one has a name. With this rider being Satan you must remember his spirit will be the one who will control the next two riders. He will cause them to make war among the nations. The destruction in New York City was minor compared to what is yet to come. There will be no peace even though they will cry “Peace, Peace.” War will erupt here on both sides of the earth right before or after Israel’s peace treaty takes place.

This rider on the red horse has many names which will help you to identify him. (Dragon, Red Dragon, Serpent, Son of Perdition, Devil, and Satan). God will be the One who will give him the power by a strong illusion upon the ones who have an evil heart, who want to control. That is the way He said He would shorten our days so the ones left behind will go through it quickly. Everything written will come to pass. Please understand, God’s desire is that no one be lost to Satan. People need to be shown the error of their ways. They will go with Christ to eternal Life; or Satan’s way, into eternal damnation.

When looking at your Chart, notice in the first and second Trumpet how it shows there will be war in the first year. The attack will take place in the U.S. and on Israel’s holy mountain in Jerusalem. The Anti-Christ (The Beast) will be so convincing he will blind most of the people into believing he is the good guy to whatever he says. He will be completely controlled by this rider (Satan).

Rev. 13:2 “…and the dragon gave him [the Beast] his power, and his seat, and great authority.”

This reads as if Satan will give this man, the rider on the next horse (also referred to as the Man of Sin), his whole kingdom. Satan’s seat is his whole kingdom. Remember, the Anti-Christ, the Beast, will be a man. He will show himself at the beginning of these seven years as a dove, a holy person. Now why would Satan give him everything? Satan will take up his abode in him the same as he did with Judas Iscariot. Use your Bible and follow the Scriptures closely because the Word will show you this is what will take place.

John 17:12 “…those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.”

Jesus is talking about his twelve disciples and He points to the fact that one of them is lost. In other words, this disciple, “Judas Iscariot”, will turn against Him. Now notice, Jesus just called him the “Son of Perdition”. Now, let’s read in another place where this name is mentioned.

II Thess. 2:3 “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”

These last two Scriptures are the only two places where the phrase “Son of Perdition” is found in the Word of God. It was first applied to Judas Iscariot, and then it will be applied to the Man of Sin, the Beast, and the one who will ride the black horse in the next Seal. Where it said there will be a falling away first, means the believers in Christ, who are ready, need to be taken out of the way (raptured) before he can be revealed. Now notice in this next Scripture where it states that Satan entered unto Judas Iscariot.

Luke 22:3 “Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.”

John 6:70 “Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?”

Remember, in Revelation 20:2, Satan also had the name “Devil”. What was of old will be again [Eccles. 1:9]. Satan will again enter into a man, the Beast, also called the Son of Perdition. If you will keep this in mind, you will have a better understanding of many Scriptures when they indicate there are two beings speaking, but will be only one man. Here is more Scripture that will show the parts  he will play and the names by which he is known.

Rev. 9:11 “And they had a King over them…the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Greek tongue hath his name (in Hebrew -Abaddon) (in Greek – Apollyon).”

This particular Scripture is speaking of Satan as a king over the evil spirits who are held in captivity for this period of time, to be turned loose in the later part of these seven years. They will enter into the armies of men who will form for the battle of Armageddon. Now remember, Satan is in this Beast, so he will have a dual personality. Now let’s go to the third horse in the third Seal to learn more of this man, the Man of Sin and the part he will play during these seven years.
